From the people that brought you Bao, this is a beautiful Taiwanese experience with classy interiors to match. When I went they had recently revamped the deco and added a dumpling lunch menu; both were top notch. I felt like I was in a classic Asian train carriage with mahogany panelling, marble bar, green banquet seating and ferns galore. I went and had a slap-up lunch of fermented beetroot broth with wontons, seasonal greens, chilli egg drop crab, Shou Pa chicken and mixed mushroom dumpling in Sichuan chilli oil. I also highly recommend their blood Mary’s with fermented chilli and fennel. So delicious!
