Sardine, Shoreditch

I took my best mate to this place for her birthday the other week and it did not disappoint. I was especially excited to find a place that did south of France cuisine in London but with a modern touch seeing as its an ex Dock Kitchen chef. The food was sublime, the service and interiors were perfect. The only minus was perhaps the Mac Donalds out in the front but once you're inside you are transported to something special so it is easily forgotten. We had the clams with saucisson, red mullet with pastis, roast vegetables en papillote, wild sea trout with green beans, ratatouille and to finish apricot tart with nougat ice cream.

Très bon!
